Vermouth Lounge
Things are happening in Vermouth Land. Last night we played at the Mediterranean Club in Aptos and it was a real party over there. Next week, Vermouth will be on The Idle Hands TV show. Inna's Birthday
Late last month we took a weekend trip to L.A. to celebrate Inna's 30th birthday and to check out the downtown loft scene. Unfortunately, there are very few lofts for sale and the "bargains" don't appear to be out there. We had a great day nonetheless and I think Steve was impressed by the multicultural nature of L.A. During the course of one day, we had a snack in Little Tokyo, we saw dozens of kids dressed up for Confirmations on Olvera street, we drove by a Chinese New Year's celebration in China Town, we had lunch in Los Feliz, we drove through (in no particular order) Silverlake, Hollywood, Korea Town, Topanga Canyon, and Little Ethiopia. Our final cultural experience of the day involved a very Russian celebration of Inna's 30th birthday at the Troyka Restaurant on Sunset Blvd. Another one of our crew has crossed over into the new decade and I'm very happy I was there to see it!
